From 2015

Power Mac Center’s Arcadium For Two – March 20-22 | March 27-29 | April 10-12, 2015 – Arcadium For Two is Power Mac Center’s fourth year of successfully running its Arcadium series, which focuses on gaming with Apple devices. This year, the concept was to get pairs to play the given games. A total of 15 stores were toured for 9 days, offering exciting games while searching for Manila’s app champ. Think Big Events was tasked to hire promoters and monitor their tasks: procurement of gaming participants, managing pre-registrants, as well as mastery of the games presented.

Power Mac Center Pixelwrox Art Workshops and Competitions – June 26-28 / July 3-5 / July 10-12 / July 17-19 – Power Mac Center hosted demo sessions and workshops in 15 participating stores, focusing on the arts. Artforms covered weekly were Visual Arts, Photography, Graphic Deisgn, and Sculpture. Each weekend featured celebrity speakers to discuss their respective artforms: Nikki Luna for Visual Arts; Jay Contreras for Photography; Electrolychee for Graphic Design, and Leeroy New for Sculpture. A mixed media competition among art enthusiasts has also been mounted, with entries to be judged by participating speakers and Power Mac Center representatives.

From 2014

Power Mac Center Valentines Demand Generation Event – February 8-16, 2014Participating Power Mac Center stores encouraged participants to create Valentine’s Day invites for their loved ones using applications under iWork and iLife. Walk-ins were given the opportunity to explore ways to express their creativity on Apple devices, while competing for great prizes. Winning entries were awarded with 2 iPod touches, an Apple TV, and an overnight stay at Punta Fuego. See Event Highlights Here


iStudio Valentine’s Day Demand Generation Activity – February 13-16, 2014 iStudio SM Manila hosted another exciting V-day event called “Love is in the Air”, an activity that involved participants taking Valentine’s-themed selfies with Apple products inside the store. Brief demos were also done, to teach existing and potential Apple users on the key features of the iPad Air. Participants were treated to a P500 voucher which can be used for purchasing products from iStudio SM Manila.

Hi Grow product activations at selected Mercury Drug branches – June 30, 2014 – December 2014In partnership with One Pharma Company Inc., Think-Big Events mounted a marketing campaign aimed to promote the latest line of Hi-Grow vitamins directly to the consumers. Push girls were assigned at different branches of Mercury Drug to sell, promote and assist potential buyers of the product.

 From 2013

Power Mac Center Demand Generation Event – Art and Music Sessions – March 15-17, March 22-24, 2013 – Participating Power Mac Center branches offered free art and music workshops for interested walk-ins: Garage Band, Mobile photography, Mobile videography, and Digital sketching – using different Apple products such as the Mac, iPod touch, and iPad. Sessons were done inside Power Mac’s training rooms, with a maximum of 8 participants per session. A total of 4 sessions per day were mounted and were facilitated by Power Mac’s training team. Participants were also enticed to participate in a digital sketching contest using the iPad.

Power Mac Anniversary Demand Generation Campaign – August 3-4, 9-11, 17-18, 24-26, 30-31, 2013 – Think Big Events was commissioned by Power Mac Center to handle series of Demand Generation activities from selected PMC stores in Metro Manila. In lieu of its 19th anniversary, walk-ins and costumers were given a chance to work on creative anniversary greetings (videos and digital art) using various Apple devices.

Power Mac Magic Demo Sessions – August 9, 16, 23, 30, 2013 – In an effort to generate demand and engage potential and existing Apple users to maximize the use of various apps, Think Big Events in cooperation with Power Mac Center conducted free demo sessions in selected Power Mac stores. The participants were treated to interesting lessons on a variety of Apple applications that they can use for office, home, lifestyle, cooking, and entertainment purposes. Highlights of the 4-day session include: an overview of how iCloud works and a live demo.

Power Mac iCloud Sessions – September 21-22, 28-29, 2013 – iCloud sessions were offered to interested participants at selected Power Mac Center branches. Trainers, with the aid of promoters, provided comprehensive discussions about the importance of iCloud to our modern day living. Walk-ins and regular Power Mac Center customers also actively participated in the games and icebreakers prepared to get them pumped up and more involved in the sessions.

From 2012

iStudio Demand Generation Event on iCloud and iOS5 – March 2012 With the release of iCloud and iOS5, interested walk-ins were treated to free demo sessions that would give them an overview on how iCloud and iOS5 works. All participants were qualified for a raffle draw, and the lucky winner was given an iPod shuffle. The event’s aim to drive traffic into the participating iStudio stores was met.

Power Mac Center Demand Generation Event – Christmas Photo Loco – November 24-25, December 1-2, 8-9, 2012 – Participating Power Mac Center branches offered free holiday-themed pictorials for interested walk-ins, also offering them discount vouchers which they can use when purchasing products. Participating stores were: PMC Podium, PMC SM Megamall, PMC SM North Edsa, PMC Trinoma, PMC Festival Mall, PMC SM Mall of Asia. The event was held simultaneously in the 6 Manila stores during the said dates.

From 2011

Feel the Love: APR Demand Generation events for the Valentine season – Love was truly in the air as people celebrated the Valentine season with their loved ones in participating Apple Premium Reseller stores in Manila. This particular event showcased several Apple products and software through a fun-filled series of activities. Highlighted products included the iPad, FaceTime on the iPod touch, iPhoto on iLife11 among others. Activities happened simultaneously across all participating stores from February 9 – 20 2011. Attendees also had their pictures taken with their loved ones and received instant prints, as a Valentine treat courtesy of the store. There was also a Facebook element to this affair as participants were asked to upload their photos onto the APR fan page on facebook where the person who garnered the most likes won an iPod. A raffle draw was also mounted where one lucky participant brought home an iPod as well.

Ready to Work: APR Demand Generation events for the graduation season – School’s over for some students and it’s time for them to get a job. This demand generation event was geared to assist graduating college students in making it easier for them to go through the job-hunt experience as well as give them tips on how iWork can be useful when they start working. Informative seminars and training sessions were held in participating Apple Premium Reseller stores. A partnership with AIESEC, a prominent, international college organization was established where members of the org were given the privilege of sitting through scheduled talks and demos about Apple’s iWork and special seminars on how to ace job interviews courtesy of a representative from the Asian Institute of Management. The event happened in all participating stores from March 19 – April 10, 2011. 3 lucky participants of the sessions won an iPad, iPod touch and an iPod nano in the raffle.

From 2010

Spread the Love with iLife – Apple Premium Reseller Stores Demand Generation EventThis year’s Valentine Season was made more fun through activities lined up at participating Apple Premium Reseller stores (The A. Shop, Digital Hub, iStudio, Power Mac Center and Switch). In-store happenings included picture/video taking sessions with friends and loved ones using fun props and a valentine-themed back ground. Participants of this event were requested to edit their picturesthrough iPhoto or iMovie and then upload their photos and videos onto the APR Phlippines Facebook fanpage. All uploaded pictures and videos were considered as entries to a competition where members of the fansite casted their votes through the “like” feature of facebook. Top 3 winners of the photo category were given 1 iPod shuffle each and top 3 winners of the video category were awarded with 1 iPod nano each. This event happened simultaneously across participating stores last February 6-7 and 13-14, 2010.

Experience a Mac: Test Drive Sessions – Apple Premium Reseller Stores Demand Generation Event – Non-Mac users and people new to the Apple platform were given the chance to learn more and experience what it’s like to use a Mac, absolutely free. All participating Apple Premium Reseller stores (The A. Shop, Digital Hub, iStudio, Power Mac Center and Switch) had respective schedules on workshops and training sessions for interested parties. Participants were given the chance to actually use Mac units as they went through the sessions. The workshops lasted for an hour. The series of events took place at the stores on March 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28, 2010.

From 2009

Apple – iPhoto ’09 Demand Generation EventiPhoto ’09, an Apple software, part of the much awaited iLife ’09 was introduced to the eager public on March 21-22 and 28-28, simultaneously across 6 Apple Premium Reseller stores. The participating stores include: Power Mac Center Greenbelt 3, Power Mac Center Megamall, Digital Hub, Switch ATC, iStudio and The A. Shop. Participants enjoyed free demos on the new features of iPhoto and brought home slideshow CDs and photo print outs free of charge. They also had a chance to have their photos taken with various celebrity impersonators who were present in all of the stores on all event dates.

Apple – iPod Touch Demand Generation EventApple Premium Reseller stores were packed with eager participants and customers for the in-store iPod touch gaming event that happened last June 6-7 and 13-14. Visitors got a chance to experience the iPod touch through the activities in the stores. Best scores garnered in each weekend won iPod touch and iPod nano units. A raffle draw capped the series of events in all stores where a lucky participant won an ipod nano.
